Chris Waller has made the decision for favourite Funstar to bypass the Group 1 Winx Stakes (1400m) at Randwick, instead running in the Group 3 Show County Quality (1200m) on the same card.
Following much consideration, we have decided to scratch Funstar from the Winx Stakes on Saturday and she will instead run in the Show County Quality over 1200m.

Funstar was the $5.50 favourite with some bookmakers for Saturday’s feature event, and she now finds herself the $3.20 favourite in the Show County Quality.
Caulfield Cup favourite Master Of Wine ($6.50) has assumed favouritism, with Verry Elleegant ($7), Dreamforce ($7.50) and The Bostonian ($8) the next in line.
Saturday’s outing will be Funstar’s first return to the track since finishing behind Con Te Partiro in the Group 1 Coolmore Legacy (1600m) in April.
