Eduardo Replaces Injured Rothfire in The Everest

Missile Stakes winner Eduardo has been announced as the replacement for Rothfire to represent the miEverest slot in The Everest (1200m).

miRunners were searching for a replacement after their nominated runner Rothfire was injured in the Golden Rose (1400m), but they have quickly found a solution with speedster Eduardo.

The sprinter has seen a spike in form since transferring to Joe Pride’s operation, winning consecutive races in winter, including the Group 2 Missile Stakes (1200m) over Flit, Imaging, and Melody Belle. He most recently finished close behind Classique Legend in The Shorts (1100m), beating home Bivouac.

It has been a busy week for The Everest slot holders, with Bivouac, Santa Ana Lane, and Trekking all being announced as runners in the past few days.

There are now 10 confirmed runners for The Everest, with Chris Waller Racing and James Harron the only slot holders yet to nominate a runner.
