Missile Stakes winner Eduardo has been announced as the replacement for Rothfire to represent the miEverest slot in The Everest (1200m).
miRunners were searching for a replacement after their nominated runner Rothfire was injured in the Golden Rose (1400m), but they have quickly found a solution with speedster Eduardo.
The sprinter has seen a spike in form since transferring to Joe Pride’s operation, winning consecutive races in winter, including the Group 2 Missile Stakes (1200m) over Flit, Imaging, and Melody Belle. He most recently finished close behind Classique Legend in The Shorts (1100m), beating home Bivouac.
