In-form galloper Behemoth has been confirmed as The Star’s runner in the 2020 The Everest (1200m) to be run at Royal Randwick on October 17th.

The South Australian star has been in outstanding form this preparation, winning the Group 3 Spring Stakes (1200m) at Morphettville, before back-to-back Group 1 wins in the Memsie Stakes, and the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes.

Behemoth joins Nature Strip, Classique Legend, Gytrash, Tofane, Rothfire, and Farnan as confirmed slot holders, with five slots remaining for the world’s richest turf race.

Behemoth is currently a $15 chance for The Everest.

Watch: Behemoth take out the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes in spectacular fashion.
