There’s no shortage of star power in the final field of 15 assembled for the Group 1 2020 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) at Flemington.
Cups hopefuls Verry Elleegant (barrier 9), Master Of Wine (4), and Surprise Baby (1) have all drawn single digit barriers, as well as last year’s winner Kings Will Dream (8).

Last year’s runner up Finche (15) will jump from the outside gate, while left field entrant Superstorm (12), who has run in The Heath (1100m) and the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m) so far this preparation, will also contend with a wide alley as he steps up in distance.
